New Hope Center
New Hope Center seeks to strengthen families in Northern Kentucky by offering caring support in powerful ways. They offer hope, help and healing through a range of compassionate services, including abortion alternatives for families experiencing untimely pregnancies.
Compassionate care for the whole family, from the first ultrasound forward
New Hope Center is a pro-life ministry serving anyone experiencing an unplanned pregnancy. Their staff walks with women and couples through the physical, emotional, and spiritual weight of that moment, upholding the value of every life along the way.
New ultrasound machines with clearer early imaging are already changing outcomes. Clients who walked in undecided, or leaning toward abortion, are choosing life during that ultrasound appointment.
New Hope doesn't do this work alone. They partner with organizations across the region, including Every Child Succeeds, the ION Center, Adoption Professionals, the Pregnancy Help Network of Northern Kentucky, and the Greater Cincinnati Pregnancy Care Coalition, so every family they meet has more than one place to turn.
Hope finds an open door
The resistance New Hope faces comes from outside the building, pro-choice opposition built into the surrounding culture. Inside, staff share the Gospel with permission.
Most clients say yes. The majority who walk through New Hope's doors are open to a real conversation about faith, even when they arrived unsure about everything else.
The same openness is showing up on the ultrasound screen, where clearer early imaging is helping undecided and abortion-minded clients choose life right there in the room.
Practical ways to support New Hope
Every act of support keeps this ministry going.
Building stability after the choice for life
New Hope's next chapter centers on what happens after a mom or dad chooses life. Two new initiatives are taking shape over the next one to three years.
Path of Hope
A new program, currently in development, built for clients at risk of poverty or already living in it. The goal: real support toward stability and self-sufficiency after the pregnancy is carried to term.
Pregnancy Loss Ministry
New Hope already has materials and a process in place for women grieving pregnancy loss. The next step is recruiting and training volunteers so a full mentoring program can launch.
Community Partnerships
New Hope is expanding ties with regional resource networks that can close the gap on housing, transportation, and personal support, the three barriers their clients run into most often. A new connection across the street from their Covington location is opening the door to work directly with local students.
Pray with New Hope Center
New Hope's work happens at the intersection of medical care, compassion ministry, and one of the most contested conversations in American culture. Here's how to pray specifically.
-
1
The Covington expansionNew Hope is expanding their Covington location and raising money to cover renovation costs. The expansion will let them host group classes and reach students at Holmes High School right across the street.
-
2
Local churches stepping inNew Hope's greatest need is connecting clients to churches equipped to walk alongside moms and dads with practical care, and patiently, toward their greatest need: spiritual care.
-
3
The Path of Hope launchThis new program is still in development. Pray for wisdom as staff build a path toward stability and self-sufficiency for families choosing life in hard circumstances.
-
4
Volunteers for pregnancy loss ministryNew Hope needs to recruit and train volunteers before they can offer their pregnancy loss mentoring program. Pray for the right people to step forward.
-
5
Clients facing housing and transportation barriersHousing, transportation, and personal support remain the largest obstacles for clients working toward stability. Pray that new community connections, including CityLink Center, continue to close those gaps.
-
6
Ongoing material needsDiapers in sizes 5, 6, and 7, wipes, and baby hygiene items run out the fastest. Pray for steady provision, and consider what GFC families can give.
