Easter is the center of the Christian faith. Jesus died on the cross to pay for sin, and on the third day he rose from the dead — defeating death and offering new life to everyone who trusts in him. Good Friday is where we sit with the weight of that sacrifice. Easter Sunday is where we celebrate that the tomb is empty. Learn more about what we believe at GFC.
It depends on which campus you attend.
Fort Thomas is doing something unique this year — Journey to Calvary: A Good Friday Prayer Walk. Fourteen stations are set up around the building, each with artwork depicting the final hours of Jesus's life. You move through them at your own pace, like a museum, with a reflection booklet to guide you. When you finish, head into the auditorium for communion. Come anytime between 5–8pm and stay as long as you'd like. Silence is maintained throughout to protect a space for reflection and prayer.
Florence and Independence will have a more traditional Good Friday service — a time to gather and remember the death of Jesus Christ and what it means for us. Services are at 6:00 and 7:30pm.
All three campuses have Grace Kids available. See the Grace Kids section above for details by campus.
