God is Moving on Campus!
Dec 1, 2022
What God is doing...
- A group of guys at UC just re-established the Phi Delta Theta fraternity and already God has done amazing things in the lives of the young men around them. Pray for continued growth in these young men and courage for the guys as they enter a dark and lonely place with the Gospel on the college campus.
- Our student leaders have continued to go above and beyond with sharing their faith, opening their homes and sacrificially giving of their resources and time to see their friends come to know Jesus. Our staff team has been so encouraged and we are excited for the growth that our team will be experiencing in the Spring.
- Two students who have been involved in the ministry and plugged into our church were baptized this semester! We exist for and through the local church. Seeing our students get plugged in and walking obediently under the leadership of the church is essential to students loving the body of Christ for years and years to come.
Please pray...
- Pray for our freshmen students that have been coming around. We believe there are a few students in particular who are weighing the cost of following Jesus. Pray that this winter break would be a turning point in their faith!
- New Year’s Conference is coming up Dec 28th-31st in Indianapolis, IN. We are praying for 42 students from UC to come with us! This is an amazing opportunity for students to pull away from the campus, receive great teaching, enjoy Godly community, and be equipped in the faith! Pray for the students who will be coming with us!
- Pray that this truth from Isaiah would be real for our students at UC! That the Lord alone would satisfy their deepest desires!
“Come, everyone who thirsts, come to the waters; and he who has no money, come, buy and eat! Come, buy wine and milk without money and without price. Why do you spend your money for that which is not bread, and your labor for that which does not satisfy? Listen diligently to me, and eat what is good, and delight yourselves in rich food.” Isaiah 55:1-2
