Agenda for 2025 Business Meeting

Sunday, Jul 27 • 3:00pm • Independence Campus

Voting Instructions (Please Read)

Last December, we tested voting on IPads as you came into the building, and that worked really well. So we will do that again at this meeting. It’s really a lot like what happens when we go to vote in a normal civil election.

As you enter the Main Entrance at the Independence Campus, you’ll see a registration table.Ā If you are a member, please check in at the table and you will be given a ticket which allows you to vote.Ā From there, walk over to the voting area where someone will take your ticket and you can vote when the next station is available.

We’re only voting on one item – Adrian Landis as an elder, so the ballot is very simple.Ā You can select Yes, No, or leave it blank.Ā  There is a spot for optional comments if you would like to give additional thoughts.Ā  Make sure you hit Submit and your vote will be tallied.Ā Ā

All ballots are anonymous.Ā When you walk up, If the screen is still showing ā€˜Your Ballot has been recorded’ from the previous voter, then just hit the ā€˜Submit Another Response’ link to bring up a blank ballot.

After voting, please head into the auditorium or hang out in the café area. Non-members are welcome to attend the meeting as well, but they cannot vote. Non-members do not need to sign in and can go directly to the auditorium or café.

Please come ready to vote. We will vote first.

There is a lot of information available on this page, and you have about a month to review it, ask questions, or raise concerns before the meeting.

We’re happy to talk with you. We believe we can better address your questions and concerns through conversations before the meeting, rather than with a one-minute answer during it.Ā

The meeting is Sunday July 27th at the Independence Campus at 3:00pm.Ā  Voting will take place first as you come in, and once everyone has voted (probably about 3:15pm), we’ll start the meeting in the auditorium, see the results, and give some updates including our current succession plan thinking.Ā  Voting went very smooth last time, so you shouldn’t have to wait more than a couple minutes to place your vote.Ā  Hope to see you on the 27th!
