Kentucky Jail Ministries

Remember the prisoners, as though in prison with them…” – Hebrews 13:3
Please join us in prayer!
  • Praise God that the Kenton County and Boone County jails have, after two years, finally begun allowing KJM to lead worship services.
  • Pray that the Campbell County and Grant County jails will soon permit in-person ministry.
  • More laborers are needed to meet ministry needs in the Kenton County jail.
  • Pray for wisdom for KJM workers leading worship services in Kenton and Boone County jails.  May the Holy Spirit draw many inmates to Jesus Christ.
  • Pray that the Kenton, Boone, Grant and Campbell county jails will allow KJM increased opportunities to visit inmates and provide them Bible studies.
  • That God will give inmates a great hunger for His Word and bring revival to the inmate population.
“Pray for me too and ask God to give me the right words as I boldly tell others about the Lord, and as I explain to them that His salvation is available for the Gentiles too…But pray that I will keep on speaking out boldly for him even  here in prison, as I should.” Ephesians 5:19-20.

Kentucky Jail Ministries’ (KJM) mission is to present the Gospel to incarcerated men and women. KJM volunteers accomplish this through the teaching of Life Skills 101- A New Direction Course, facilitating Bible studies, guiding worship services, and one-on-one mentoring. For more than sixteen years, God has graciously granted KJM favor to serve in Boone, Kenton, Campbell, and Grant County Detention Centers.  To God be the glory! Psalm 115:1
