Why Does The Resurrection Matter?

  • Passage: 1 Corinthians 15:17, 19, 58
  • It matters because the power of Jesus’ resurrection means you are completely forgiven.
  • It matters because the power of Jesus’ resurrection gives you hope that He will work in YOU.
  • It matters because the power of Jesus’ resurrection gives you purpose.
  • It matters because the power of Jesus’ resurrection gives you a new perspective on the goal of parenting.
  • It matters because the power of Jesus’ resurrection means that you can pray with HOPE, EXPECTING God to work somehow.

Questions for you:

  • Do I believe that God has the power to work in my parenting? Like, REALLY?
  • How do I need to remind myself every day that this power is real and working?
  • How should I pray for my student because JESUS IS ALIVE?
  • What ways can I pursue my student in this season and remind them of Jesus’ power and love?
